Our Philosophy

We understand. It's unfortunate, but plenty of people feel intimidated at the thought of joining a health club. Walking into a huge open room with mysterious machines can be tough. It may also seem like the members are already in great shape and know what they are doing.

We are different. At Blue Fish Fitness Club we recognize these feelings and work hard to create a welcoming atmosphere that provides individualized and caring attention. We w
ill take the time to introduce you to our facility, our programs and our equipment to ensure you feel as comfortable as possible.

We offer all types of workouts for all types of people and we believe in functional fitness for life. What is "functional fitness"? The focus of functional fitness is building a body capable of doing real life activities in real life positions. So what's an example of a functional exercise? How about standing and doing a chest press instead of lying on bench? If you were actually using your chest to press something (like a piece of furniture across the room) you would not be lying on a bench with your spine supported. One of the bonus benefits of functional training is "core work". When you work your core you have better posture, which is very important as we age.

Our overall goal is to ensure each individual person receives a positive, beneficial fitness experience each and every time they visit us. After all, we want to see you healthy...and coming back!
